Feb 11, 2023(February 9) New Philadelphia Man Gets Life Sentence For Sexual Abuse Of Children | New Philadelphia, OH
A 60-year-old man who formerly volunteered with a church youth ministry has received a life sentence with the possibility of parole after 20 years for raping and committing other sex offenses against two girls.
Tuscarawas County Common Pleas Judge Michael J. Ernest sentenced Jeffrey A. Pringle Thursday on three counts of child rape and four counts of gross sexual imposition.

(February 7) Five Members Of Jehovah's Witness Congregations In PA Charged With Child Sexual Abuse | PA
Five additional people with ties to Jehovah's Witnesses have been indicted on child sexual abuse charges stemming from a three-year, special grand jury investigation, according to the Pennsylvania attorney general's office.
Four of the men have been detained while a fifth, Norman Aviles, a 44-year-old Lancaster County resident, remains at-large.
Kevin Isovitsch, 51, of Butler County has also been charged with rape.

Denver police and prosecutors are pursuing a rape case against a man who served as the music director at St. John's School and church in southeast Denver, according to a CBS News Colorado investigation.
Diego Marroquin, 36, is facing one charge of sexual assault on a child under the age of 15 by a person in a position of trust. He allegedly raped a 13-year-old female student from the school on a balcony overlooking the church in May of 2022.

(February 6) Parents Sue Christian Preschool, Alleging Sex Abuse Cover-up | TX
Parents who say their child was abused by a teacher at a preschool in Texas are suing the preschool where the abuse allegedly happened.
The lawsuit was filed on January 26 in Dallas County District Court and seeks $100 million in damages. The Roys Report (TRR) is not naming the alleged victim’s parents to protect the alleged victim’s identity.
The suit alleges that Thaddaeus Davidson, 34, abused the plaintiffs’ 3-year-old child while employed at Carpe Diem Private Preschool in Southlake.

(February 3) Fairbanks Youth Pastor Arrested On A Charge Of Child Sex Abuse | AK
A local youth pastor indicted Wednesday on one count of felony second-degree sexual abuse of a minor was arrested Friday after turning himself in to Alaska State Troopers.
David Duffett, 44, is listed on the Bible Baptist Church of Fairbanks’ website as the youth director, bus ministries director, and teacher of the Teen Church and Teens N Training programs. The website further states Duffett runs a yearly youth camp, is the head of Teen Bible Time, and has been the youth director for more than 20 years.
