(November 16) Police Arrest Ekiti Pastor For Alleged Kidnaping Of Church Members Children | NIGERIA

The controversial founder of Christ High Commission Church, Araromi-Ugbesi in Omuo-Oke, Ekiti State, Noah Abraham, who was in the news last year for allegedly collecting three hundred and ten thousand Naira from church members as a ticket to heaven has been re-arrested for more grievous offences.

This time around, the controversial Pastor was arrested by the Ekiti State Police Command in collaboration with the National Agency for Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, NAPTIP, for the alleged kidnapping of over nine persons including minors and impregnating the wife of his choir coordinator.

(November 15) Man Charged With Arson After Fire Outside Hamilton Church | CANADA

Police say they’ve connected an early October blaze at a Dundurn Street church in Hamilton, Ont., with a 44-year-old man.

Investigators say the man is allegedly responsible for a “smouldering” blaze in a recycling bin beside a gas meter at the First Unitarian Church of Hamilton near Dundurn and Hill Street.

The small blaze was put out by Hamilton Fire, around 7 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 5, not long after it started.

(November 14) Case Filed Against Church Organizers For Baptism Activities In Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams’ Temple Tank | INDIA

Local police have initiated legal proceedings against organizers from a local church for conducting baptism-related activities at a temple tank owned by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams in Karvetinagaram, Chittoor district, on Tuesday.

Former TTD trust board member and BJP leader G Bhanu Prakash Reddy strongly criticized the incident, urging the Tirupati trust to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the security lapses associated with the occurrence.
