Feb 19, 2023(February 17) 13-Year-Old Found Shot To Death In Front Of Church | Gary, IN
Police in Indiana are investigating a deadly shooting where a teenager has died.
The Gary Police Department reports that officers were called to check the welfare of a person who was lying face down in front of an area church on Wednesday afternoon.
Arriving officers said they found a 13-year-old boy unresponsive with gunshot wounds at the scene. He was declared deceased by the coroner.

(February 12) Teen Found Stabbed To Death Near Westchester Church | Mount Vernon, NY
A teenager was found stabbed to death near a church in Westchester. Police got a 911 call on Saturday afternoon about a male on the ground in Mount Vernon near North Columbus and East Lincoln Avenues.
When officers arrived, they found a 19-year-old unresponsive with a wound to his chest.
The victim's identity has not yet been released.

(February 12) Former Member Accused Of shooting Church In Hermitage | Nashville, TN
A man was arrested on Friday after police in the Hermitage area identified him as the suspect who shot at Saint Mark Coptic Orthodox Church on Old Murfreesboro Pike on two separate occasions, causing damage to the building.
Officials said surveillance footage caught at least two rounds being fired at the church on Jan. 28 from the passenger side of a Jeep Renegade around 3 a.m.
On Feb. 2, at least one round was fired at the church - also from a white Jeep Renegade - this time around 3:15 a.m. A window was hit by a bullet and caused $1,000 in damage, according to police.

(February 11) Man Wanted In Deadly Shooting Across From Worcester Church In Oct. | Worcester, MA
Police are searching for a man, believed to be armed and dangerous, who's suspected of killing someone in Worcester, Massachusetts, last year.
Kelvin Verde, 23, has been charged with murder in an Oct. 24 shooting that left a man dead across from a church, according to the Worcester Police Department.

New Jersey police have looked into a Newark church as part of their investigation into the unsolved shooting death of a GOP lawmaker attacked outside her home last week, according to a new report.
Eunice Dwumfour, a 30-year-old Republican borough councilwoman from Sayreville, died in a barrage of gunfire on Feb. 1 in front of her townhouse, according to authorities.
