Mar 17, 2023(March 16) One Arrested In Shooting Near Lacey Area Church And School Tuesday Evening
Deputies arrested a person in connection with a shooting that occurred near a Lacey area church late Tuesday evening.
The shooting occurred before 9:50 a.m. near the 7500 block of Sixth Avenue Southeast, Lt. Cameron Simper told The Olympian.
A deputy responded to the scene and found a man with minor injuries, Simper said. The man reportedly told the deputy he had been shot at, but not shot, by two suspects. Both of the suspects fled before deputies arrived.

(March 14) Murder Suspect Was Arrested At Church Service Where Sheriff Was Guest Speaker, Deputies Say | Polk City, FL
A murder suspect was arrested in church during a service in which the local sheriff was speaking, according to deputies.
John Skeen, 56, was taken into custody Sunday morning on a warrant out of Hillsborough County, Florida, for second-degree murder with a firearm.
Deputies there claim three friends were staying at a residence in the community of Ruskin on Friday for a fishing trip. There was an argument that lead up to the shooting, officials said.

(March 13) Man In Search Of Wife Shoots Into Ceiling Of Fort Pierce Church, Police Say | Fort Pierce, FL
A man has been arrested after he fired a shot into the ceiling of a Fort Pierce church where he had been looking for his wife, police said.
The shooting occurred about 4:45 a.m. Sunday at Iglesia Ministerio Jesucristo es el Camino on Oleander Avenue.
Fort Pierce police spokeswoman April Lee said the man entered the church looking for his wife. Unable to find her, he shot into the ceiling before leaving, Lee said.

(March 13) Sebring Teen Fatally Shot After Playing Basketball At Church, Police Say | Sebring, FL
Sebring police are searching for the shooter who killed a 17-year-old Friday night.
The deadly shooting occurred Friday around 9 p.m. in the Washington Heights Community on Grand Avenue. According to Sebring police, the teen was riding his bicycle when he was shot.
They said it appears the victim, – who was not publicly identified by police – was playing basketball at the Bountiful Blessing Church and was heading home at the time of the shooting.
