(June 2) Woman Admits To Charges For Damage To Downtown Billings Buildings | MT

A woman charged for setting fires to a church and corrections facility in downtown Billings last year admitted to amended charges Thursday in Yellowstone County District Court.

Jodi Laurette Moore, who also uses the last name Loftus, appeared before Judge Colette Davies and pleaded guilty to felony charges of criminal endangerment and criminal mischief resulting in pecuniary loss of more than $1,500.

Moore was initially charged with two counts of felony arson and a misdemeanor count of criminal mischief after she was arrested last Sept. 20.

(June 1) Church Sign Vandal Caught By Police In Morristown | NJ

The 22-year-old man turned himself in at the Morristown Police Department headquarters on May 30, authorities said.

The vandal who was caught on surveillance footage near the Morristown church last week after a sign promoting equality was damaged has been charged.

According to the Morris County Prosecutor's Office, a 22-year-old man turned himself in at the Morristown Police Department headquarters on May 30.

The man, whose name has not been released by police, allegedly saw surveillance photos of himself released through the Crimestoppers program last weekend.

(June 1) 2 Men Arrested In Vehicle Crash At Church | High Point, NC

Two men have been arrested and charged following a car crash at First Presbyterian Church early Tuesday morning.

Izaiah Lozano, 21, was charged with hit-and-run with property damage, driving without an operator license and reckless driving. Joshua Schroll, 29, was charged with driving while impaired and driving without a license.

What should have been a joyful Pentecost Sunday at Christ Anglican Church in Irvington New Jersey, turned into absolute mayhem as an outside group belonging to the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) sawed off door locks and broke into the church to occupy the building and claim it as their own. The illegal conversion of the property was the result of an outrageous and unconstitutional ruling by New Jersey Superior Court Judge Jody Lee Alper.

Judge Alper who was hearing a civil suit between two groups of individuals who used to attend the same parish but one side had been excluded from membership and attendance by order of its Bishop, the Rt. Rev. Ken Ross.
