Oct 10, 2022(October 06) Thousands In Credit Card Theft Stolen From Church
CABELL COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) - According to the Cabell County Sheriff’s Office, thieves drained thousands of dollars in credit card funds from Norway Avenue Church of Christ in Huntington. The sheriff’s office is searching for two men. They’re wanted for questioning in a credit card theft that has led to more than $13,000 in fraudulent charges.

(October 05) Former Security Guard Arrested After Trying To Abscond With 600k From Church Offering Vault
Akindele Opeyemi Olufemi, a 32-year-old former security guard was paraded by the Ekiti State Police Command after allegedly breaking to church’s offering vault to steal N600K. According to reports, the suspect was apprehended by the police as a “Stop and Search” point of the Safer Highways of the Command. The suspect upon being confronted by the officers to search his bag denied them access to his bag.

(October 05) Man, 33, Arrested In Ekiti For Stealing Church Offering
A 33-year-old man, Akindele Olufemi has been arrested by Ekiti State Police Command for allegedly stealing the sum of N620,115 offering belonging to a church in Osun State. Three other suspected criminals were also arrested for alleged fake kidnapping and for trying to collect a sum of N5 million ransom under false pretence and 16 others were found culpable for various crimes that bordered on kidnapping, stealing, burglary cattle rustling and robbery in the state.

(October 04) Anger As Donegal Church Attacked With Stones
A church in the St Johnston area has been attacked and several windows were smashed. A number of panes of glass were smashed at the Church of Ireland building at Craigadoes when stones were thrown at the building. The incident happened between Friday and Saturday last, September 30/October 1st.

(October 04) St. Charles Police Investigate A String Of Church Mailbox Thefts
The St. Charles County Police department (SCCPD) is investigating a series of mail thefts from area churches. SCCPD said thefts they know of date all the way back to June and August, the mail taken included checks actually delivered to the church by the postal service. SCCPD Captain David Tiefenbrunn said it started with reports from Dardenne Presbyterian Church and since posting photos of the suspects, the list has grown to several churches including one in Chesterfield.

(October 04) Charges Pending Against Man Accused Of Shooting 7-Year-Old Boy Headed To Far South Side Church
Charges are pending against a man who allegedly shot a 7-year-old boy headed to church this weekend on the Far South Side, Chicago police officials announced Monday. Legend Barr and his family were headed to church near 108th and State streets around 11:30 a.m. Sunday when they spotted someone “rummaging” through one of their parked cars, Chicago Police Department Deputy Chief Larry Snelling told reporters.

(October 03) Thieves Steal Thousands Of Dollars Worth Of Tools Off Church Property For The Third Time
BATON ROUGE - A pastor and his wife are fed up with thieves stealing from the home they are building on church grounds. According to pastors Eric and Sherril Pointer, the work site for their new home has been stolen from at least three times, the most recent being last week. Video shows thieves driving an SUV to the driveway of the unfinished home, hooking up to a trailer and taking off.

(October 02) Seminole Officer Shot During Traffic Stop
SEMINOLE, Texas (KCBD) - An officer is recovering and a suspect is in custody after a Seminole police officer exchanged fire with a suspect in a church parking lot on Saturday morning, according to the Seminole Sentinel. The officer was conducting a traffic stop when the driver pulled into the parking lot of St. James Catholic Church around 10 a.m. Saturday morning.

(October 01) Robbers Attack Kogi Church, Steal Phones, Cash
Hoodlums suspected to be armed robbers have invaded a New Life Gospel Church at Sariki-Noma, a suburb of Lokoja, the Kogi State capital, and carted away unspecified sum of money, phones and church property. The Resident Pastor of the church, Pastor Olorunfemi Ojo, told Daily Trust that the gunmen struck in the early hours of Saturday.

(September 30) Vandals Create $5,000 In Damages At Shafter Church
SHAFTER, Calif. (KGET) — The Shafter Police Department was called to the First Church of Nazarene for a vandalism and burglary investigation. When they arrived, officers said they found damage estimated to be $5,000, according to officials. Police said they were called Wednesday around 6:15 p.m. and found damaged pews, paint on windows, broken windows and other damages.
