Police are investigating a homicide after human remains were found inside a container in a Baltimore neighborhood.
A call for help was made around 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 7 after human remains were found inside a black container in the curtilage of the 3900 block of Garrison Boulevard, according to investigators.

(March 8) Warren Man Kills Himself Outside Of St. Malachy In Sterling Heights
Fr. Joe Gembala let his congregation know of an unfortunate incident that took place at his Sterling Heights church Tuesday.
“This afternoon – during a time when our church was not hosting any activities – an individual was discovered deceased outside of the shrine. Sterling Heights police have indicated that there were no signs of foul play. There does not appear to be any connection between this individual and our parish community, other than that the individual was known to visit the shrine on occasion,” Gembala said in his letter to parishioners at St. Malachy Catholic Church in Sterling Heights.
The incident happened around 1:15 p.m. Church security found the deceased and called police.

(March 4) Drive-By Shooting At Shreveport Church Parking Lot, Four Shot | Shreveport, LA
Four people were shot early Saturday morning in a church parking lot, Shreveport police said.
All of the injuries are said to be non-life threatening.
Officers responded to a shots fired call at the Praise Temple Baptist Church parking lot, located in the 4700 block of Greenwood Road, around 1:10 a.m. One gunshot victim was found and taken to Ochsner LSU Health hospital.
Later, police received reports of two more victims arriving at WK South Hospital and another at WK Bossier Hospital.

(March 4) Woman Found Deceased At First United Methodist Church In Great Falls | MT
A woman was recently found deceased at the First United Methodist Church.
The Great Falls Police Department tells NonStop Local the woman was a transient in her 60s.
At this time the death does not appear to be suspicious and officers were reportedly told she had been sick.

(March 3) Man Charged With Murder For Stockdale Shooting To Appear In Court | Bakersfield, CA
The shooting took place near the First United Methodist Church of Bakersfield. Officers responded to the scene around 6:30 p.m.
A 37-year-old man charged with first-degree murder in connection to a February shooting in Southwest Bakersfield is expected to be in court on Fri, March 3.
Matthew Jon Martinez is set to appear for his felony arraignment in connection to the deadly shooting that happened on Stockdale Highway near McDonald Way on Thurs, Feb 23,
