In this four-part interview series, I talk with Dr. James Densley about the four things that mass shooters generally have in common.

Dr. James Densley is Professor and Department Chair of Criminal Justice at Metro State University. He is also co-founder of the Violence Project, best known for having one of the most comprehensive database into mass shootings in America.

Densley is the author and co-author of seven books, including the award-winning book, The Violence Project: How to Stop a Mass Shooting Epidemic, 50 peer-reviewed articles in leading scientific journals, and over 90 book chapters, essays, and other works such as CNN, The Los Angeles Times, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, and the Washington post.
